David Upchurch

David Upchurch is a former Professional Baseball player for the Kansas City Royals, drafted in the 19th round of the 1994 Major League Baseball Draft. He has coached High School baseball, football, basketball, and cross country for 24 years. Upchurch is also the current President of Red Dirt Baseball, a 501c3 non-profit organization, and is the co-owner and coach Performance Baseball.

Upchurch is a public speaker, leader, and teacher. His most important relationships are with his family, and he considers himself a trustworthy hardworking family man of faith.

Eric Newendorp

Eric’s career has spanned more than 25 years in the sport and entertainment industries, having had the privilege to work for organizations in Major League Soccer, the Canadian Premier League, the North American Soccer League, Texas League Baseball, Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA), NCAA Division I football and basketball, the Central Hockey League and the NBA G-League, as well as other professional, collegiate and amateur sports organizations and events including golf, tennis and youth basketball. He has helped start up or re-brand several professional sports teams and organizations and has helped open several new or renovated multi-purpose stadiums and arenas.

He has also served as a college professor since 2013 teaching several courses in sports management and marketing, communications, ethics, organizational theory and legal aspects of sport administration, and finance in the sport industry at the University of Tulsa, Rogers State University, Southern Nazarene University, and Northeastern State University.

Newendorp grew up in Moore, Oklahoma and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Letters. He also holds a Master’s of Science degree in Sport Administration from Canisius College in Buffalo, New York.

Brian Miller

Born in Corpus Christi, Texas and raised in the Hill Country outside of Austin, Brian went on to spend over 25 years raising 3 daughters and working in retail management and sales in the Bryan/College Station area after attending Texas A&M University. Brian is currently working on a bachelor’s degree in Sport Management and is excited to bring his career experience to the White Oak Timber Hogs.
