J.T. brings a deep passion for baseball, shaped by his experience as a collegiate player at both University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Central Michigan University, as well as his time competing in top collegiate summer leagues like the Coastal Plain League and the Northwoods League. These experiences gave him firsthand insight into high-level team dynamics and player development.

Beyond his playing career, he has built an impressive resume in sports management, marketing, and operations, holding key roles in many different sport organizations where he coordinated team operations, logistics, sales, and fan engagement initiatives. His background also includes coaching and player development, giving him a comprehensive understanding of both the on-field and behind-the-scenes aspects of the game. Now, as General Manager of the Piney Woods TimberHogs, J.T. leverages his playing experience and operational expertise to elevate the organization, ensuring a top-tier experience for players and a strong connection with the community.
